All accepted abstracts will be eligible for presentation at IDS 2025 for the Chellaram Foundation Diabetes Research Award; however, owing to limitations, only well-structured original abstracts selected by the scientific committee will be considered for publication in the abstract issue of Chronicle of Diabetes Research and Practice.
Dr. Rebecca Reynolds is an Honorary Consultant endocrinologist at the Edinburgh Centre for Endocrinology and Diabetes and the clinical director of the University of Edinburg’s undergraduate Endocrinology and Diabetes module. Her clinical work includes general diabetes and endocrinology and specialist clinics in reproductive endocrinology and pregnancy. She set up the antenatal metabolic clinic in 2008, which is one of the areas of her research interest. Her main research interest is in the early life origins of health for which she has received two prestigious awards.
Dr. Rebecca is an awardee of Nick Hales Award and the Curt Richter Award. She was awarded a PhD by the University of Edinburgh in 2002 for work on the early life programming of disease.
