All accepted abstracts will be eligible for presentation at IDS 2025 for the Chellaram Foundation Diabetes Research Award; however, owing to limitations, only well-structured original abstracts selected by the scientific committee will be considered for publication in the abstract issue of Chronicle of Diabetes Research and Practice.

Dr. Mimi Chen

Dr Mimi Chen is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer specializing in Bariatric Medicine and Type 2 Diabetes. She practices in the Diabetes and Endocrinology Department at St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London, one of the UK’s largest teaching hospitals. Dr Chen leads the Bariatric and Metabolic Medicine Services at St. George’s. Dr. Chen is the co-founder of the CardioMetabolic Clinic at St. George’s University Hospitals. Dr Chen chairs the South East Coast and South London Diabetes Forum for Children & Young Adults.
